Kidney Bean Curry Recipes

Ingredients :

4 fl oz vegetable oil

2 tsp cumin seeds

1 large onion, chopped

13 oz can chopped tomatoes

1 tbsp ground coriander

1 tsp chili powder

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp salt

15 oz cans red kidney beans, drained

Method :

  1. Heat oil in frying pan, add cumin seeds, onion, fry until onion is lightly browned.

  2. Stir in the tomatoes, fry for a few seconds, add ground coriander, chili powder, sugar, salt, stir well.

  3. Lower the heat and cook for 5-7 minutes.

  4. Add beans, stir thoroughly, cook 10-15 minutes.

  5. Ready to serve.

Serves 5
