can kidney beans (without sugar), well rinsed
Method :
In a large
skillet, melt the butter. Add the onions and cook until tender but not
brown. Remove the onions to a Dutch oven. In the skillet, brown the
meat, stirring and chopping to break up any lumps. When the meat is hot,
add the salt and chili powder and simmer 20-30 minutes. Add the meat
mixture to the onions. Add the tomato puree and the water and bring to
the boil. Add the beans, heat through and serve immediately.
