Spicy Beef Recipes

Ingredients :

15ml oil

450g minced beef

2.5cm fresh root ginger, sliced

5ml Chinese five spice powder

1 red chili, sliced

50g mange tout

1 red pepper, seeded and chopped

1 carrot, sliced

115g bean sprouts

15ml sesame oil

Method :

Heat the oil in a wok until almost smoking. Add the minced beef and cook for 3 minutes, stirring all the time. Add the ginger, Chinese five spice powder and chili. Cook for 1 minute. Add the mange tout, pepper and carrot and cook for a further 3 minutes, stirring continuously. Add the bean sprouts and sesame oil and cook for a final 2 minutes. Serve immediately with noodles.
